My name is Darrell Deer, and I am the pastor of College Heights Baptist Church in Elyria, Ohio. I’m married and have three children. As you can tell from many of my posts, I am a believer in Christ. I also enjoy sports, politics, and history. I received a Bachelor’s degree in history and religion from Carson-Newman College. I also earned a Master’s degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Why I Do This?
It is my fervent desire that whoever encounters us on the web will grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. It is my plan to have some quirky fun posts in addition to posts that will help you grow in your spiritual life. Here you’ll find observations about life, sports, politics, and anything else that peaks my curiosity. And, of course you’ll read a lot about Christianity. Your comments are always welcome.
